These documents give an overview of the curriculum to be explored in Year 2 CNN classes following the Zhongwen framework. The topics are designed to develop strategies and skills for those who are Near Native Chinese learners. They should be seen as a guide not a definitive list of topics that will be covered. Planning for learning and teaching language evolves throughout the year in the response to the needs of individual students within a cohort. It is not expected that these topics will be covered in chronological order as they are integrated through the Units of Inquiry where appropriate and may also be taught in stand alone sessions.
