Term 2 ECAs
Sign Up Opens on Friday 6th December
The sign-up for the Term 2 Glenealy School ECAs will open on Friday, 6th December.
Y1 & 2 sign-up opens at 4.15pm and Years 3- 6 sign-up opens at 4.30pm.
It will remain open until 23.55 pm on Wednesday 8th January. Please note that amendments to enrolments & withdrawals cannot be made once the sign-up has closed.
The table below shows an overview of the ECAs that will be available.
Please note Year 1 & 2 students can choose 1 school run ECA (any spare places will be made available on 6th January). Year 3 – 6 students have unlimited choices.
The ECA classes will run from Tuesday, 4th February until Friday, 28th March and will take place from 3.15pm - 4.15pm.
Please note there will be no after-school ECAs on Wednesday, 26th March, due to the Y6 Exhibition (lunchtime ECAs will go ahead as normal).
On days when students have a sporting ECA, they may come to school in their P.E. kit.
ECAs are charged at a nominal rate for the term. This is to cover the costs incurred to deliver the ECA. Term 2 ECAs cost $375 per ECA for the term. Payment notices will be sent on Monday, 13th January, via The Gateway.
Students in Years 5 and 6 already listed as unaccompanied walkers will be allowed to go home unaccompanied after their ECAs at school. All other students must be collected at 4.15pm from the underground playground.
Students staying for Glenealy School-run ECAs will be supervised by a teacher until the start of their ECA. They may wish to bring a small snack to eat after school.
If your child has an ECA run by an outside provider, that starts at 3.15pm, please notify your child’s class teacher so they can hand your child over to the ECA provider. For ECAs starting after 3.15pm your child must be picked up from the class teacher and supervised by a parent or guardian until the start of their ECA. If your child usually takes the bus home and will not be doing so due to attendance to an outside provider-run ECA, please also inform the bus company using the bus button on the ESF App.
