These documents give a broad overview of the expected learning outcomes to be explored by the end of Year 5. These learning outcomes, which develop strategies and skills are integrated through the Units Of Inquiry where appropriate or are taught in stand alone sessions. Planning for learning and teaching language evolves throughout the year in response to the needs of individual students within a cohort and therefore these learning outcomes should be seen as a guide and not a definitive list.
